One of the state’s top prospects, LB Josh Barajas has decided to end his recruiting process by committing to Penn State today. It’s been speculated that Notre Dame was the team to beat, after Barajas almost committed there a month ago. Penn State comes as a surprise to some, but not Barajas. “It feels great! The weight of the world is off my shoulders” said Barajas.
He likes what new Head Coach James Franklin is doing at Penn State. Says he likes that Coach Franklin is a “high-energy” guy and the direction the program is headed. After visiting Penn State, Barajas says he felt comfortable with the staff and it just felt right.
“I’m very firm on my decision” and will not take anymore visits to other programs. That includes official visit(s) said Barajas.
*Josh Barajas made an earlier commitment to play in the US Army All-American game in January 2015.
