Columbus North senior defensive tackle Coleman Tennyson was once a promising recruit heading into his junior year, has yet garner any scholarship offers. Things however, may change for the 6’2 290 pound tackle, if Tennyson continues to dominate from his defensive line position. Leading his team in almost every defensive stat category, Tennyson has accounted for 24 tackles, 3 tackles for loss and 3 sacks in two games.

Tennyson registered 14 tackles and a sack in a head to head match-up against recent Indiana commit, Harry Crider who plays center for Columbus East. The rivalry game between the two Columbus schools, were apart of the Great American Rivalry Series. Tennyson was awarded MVP for his performance. Tennyson is front and center for a Columbus North defense that has yielded 20 points in two games.  Expect his number of FBS and FCS suitors to increase if he continues his dominance over the season.

Zionsville senior quarterback Blake Levy is averaging 327 yards passing and has accounted for 7 touchdowns in his first two weeks as a starter. After transferring from a now defunct program at Trinity Lutheran in Seymour, where his father was the head coach, Levy seized the opportunity to play for class 5A program, Zionsville. As a junior he found himself behind on the depth chart, but has taken the reigns since as a senior.

Levy led Zionsivlle to wins over Pike and Lebanon, while lighting up the scoreboard. Levy is undersized at 6’2 175, but possesses the arm strength to play at the next level. Add another year in the weight room and Levy could be a steal for area NAIA schools.
