Hamilton Southeastern defensive end Madison Norris is one of the state’s top prospects in the 2018 class. A natural athlete with freakish ability, the 6’5 220 pound Norris is hearing from the nation’s top programs and currently holds offers from Indiana, Central Michigan and top 5 program in Louisville. After his second visit to Notre Dame recently, Norris feels the Irish are close to offering, along with Iowa and Purdue.
Turn on tape of Norris, and you can see why power 5 schools are making the prospect a priority. Not often do you recruit a kid, that stands 6’5 220 pounds, with explosive ability who moves like a small forward and the speed he possesses on the edge. Norris qualified for state track finals in the hurdles as a sophomore. He is a heavy favorite to compete for a state title in the 110m hurdles this Spring.
With his junior season ending earlier than, he would like, Norris has found himself very busy making trips to college campuses. Cincinnati has asked him back to visit and he will return to Louisville on November 12. The list of schools showing interest are growing, and expanding to the SEC, as Georgia has been in contact with Norris.
The next 6 months will be an exciting time for Norris, as we expect his recruitment to take off in a big way.
