unnamedFishers, Indiana– Preps 2 Prospects and Indiana Preps teamed up to host the 4th Annual Indiana Winter Showcase at the SPARTA complex. Nearly 250 athletes from across six different states, packed the building. A great staff was assembled for this event, with guest instructors from the NFL, Colts tight end Mike Miller and college football players like Cathedral alum and current Maryland quarterback Max Bortenschlager. Vanderbilt recruit offensive lineman Bryce Bailey offered his assistance with the offensive line group.

Campers were put through a series of speed and agility drills followed by individual position work and 1 on 1 competition.

Overall Top Performer
Reese Taylor, Ben Davis, 2018 ATH
Reese came into the event with high regard as a power 5 offer kid, and he didn’t disappoint. Starting out in defensive back drills, he was smooth in his back pedal and flips his hips with ease. He barely scrapes the grass in his backpedal. His speed was a huge advantage in 1on1s. He can run stride for stride with the fastest players in the building. Taylor would often bait the quarterbacks and then jump the route or make a play on the jump balls. Taylor gave up only one catch in the final best on best, and it was a underneath five yard dig route. He did take a few reps on offense at wide receiver and made it look easy. Taylor has a couple power 5 offers and added another one from B1G Minnesota after his stellar performance on Sunday.
